My Story

I had wanted to be a real estate agent my entire life. At the same time, I was scared to do it. My income would be 100 percent dependent on sales. If I did not sell a house, I did not get paid. That reality felt daunting, to say the least.

When I finally made the decision to move into real estate, I was working in a job that had become unbearable. One day, I said to myself, “I am going to do it. If I fail, I fail. I will never have to wonder what if.”

The third client I helped become a homeowner was a single mother with two boys. This sweet woman was living in a low income apartment with another family. Three adults, four children, and several cats were sharing a tiny, cramped space.

Each time I picked her up to look at homes, she would be sitting on the stairs waiting for me. She never allowed me to come inside. Her mother lived in Florida and loved her daughter and grandchildren dearly. She was determined to help her daughter move into a better living situation.

Our plan was simple. Her daughter and I would narrow the search down to five homes. Once we did, her mother would immediately fly to Utah to approve the final purchase. When we found the right homes, her mother flew in, viewed the top five, and we wrote an offer on “the one.”

We presented the offer and received a counteroffer. The mother and daughter wanted to accept it. I took the paperwork to the hotel so the mother could sign. When I knocked and the door opened, I was met with hugs and tears of joy from the grandmother, the mother, and the two precious boys. Their lives were about to change forever.

That was the moment I KNEW I had found my calling. Words cannot fully express the joy I felt that day. I was crying right along with them. As I drove back to the office to fax the acceptance to the seller’s agent, my heart was completely full.

That feeling has never changed.

All these years later, I still get that same rush of joy when I call my clients to tell them they got their home. I cannot fully put into words what that moment feels like.

I am deeply grateful for the privilege of serving my clients. My goal is to do such an exceptional job that I am their only choice. I want every client to feel so cared for and confident in my team’s service that they gladly refer us to their family and friends.

Helping people achieve homeownership is not just what I do. It is who I am. And I would not trade it for the world.
